Associate Pastor
I was born and raised in Northern California. I received Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior at the age of nine, but struggled to really live for Him through my teen-age years and into college. As a junior in college, I came back to the Lord and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This radically changed my life, and I immediately felt a call to the ministry. I graduated with my BA in Sociology from Pepperdine University in 1975. In 1983, I graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center, married Mike in 1984, and we soon became Youth Pastors for a growing church in Hayward, California. In 1989, we moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for Mike to attend Rhema Bible Training Center, and I was able to attend second year over again with him. While attending RBTC, Mike began to work for Willie George Ministries, and we ended up living in Tulsa for another three years following graduation in 1991. During this time we also ministered to children’s workers in churches throughout the U.S. and abroad.
In 1994, we were asked to come to The Rock Church and World Outreach Center to be the Children’s Pastors. Since that time we have seen The Rock grow from a Children’s Ministry of about 50 children to well over 2,500 each week. We have done short-term mission trips to the Philippines, Russia (Belarus), Mexico, Tanzania and Italy. We have three adult children, Chantel, Anna and Joey and three grandchildren.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. - Romans 12:2
